Maths only becomes fun when you can see it and hold it . With the DotasToys Maths Board & Drawing Board , your child learns to count, add and subtract with 100 coloured counting sticks — and on the other side, it's simply a drawing board.
One side is the maths side with plus, minus and equals. The other side is completely blank: for drawing, practising letters or jotting something down. The board is made of whiteboard card, so the marker wipes straight off and you can start again. No more paper needed.
Start with counting: lay down five sticks and count them together. Then turn it into sums — add three more sticks, how many are there now? Write the sum on the board and let your child explain the answer with the sticks. That way, an abstract sum becomes something your child literally holds in their hands. With the workbook, you build up step by step to 100.
For children aged 3 to 6. Toddlers start with counting and recognising colours; pre-schoolers move on to adding and subtracting. Great preparation for school maths (from age 6), and handy for home learning or a quiet moment at the table.
