What will it be like?

No endless scrolling and no flashing rewards, just a calm place where your child takes a small step every day.

⏱️

Short lessons

A lesson takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on age, and then stops by itself. Dotas wraps up and takes your child back to the map.

🏫

Following the school order

The worlds follow the Dutch learning goals for preschool and the first two years of Dutch primary school (ages 4 to 6): counting, sounds and letters, shapes and colours, step by step.

πŸ¦’

Dotas talks and shows

Dotas tells, points and encourages, for now in Dutch. Your child doesn't need to be able to read yet.

πŸ‚

Screen off, play on

Every day ends with a little task to do at home or outside, often with DotasToys toys.

πŸ”’

Calm and safe

No adverts, no pop-ups and no trackers in the children's area. As a parent, you stay in control.

🎲

Something different every day

Rolling the dice, picking apples, tracing letters, singing and moving: a different game each time, always the same goal.

Dotas asks: the squirrel has fewer apples, give him one. Next to him, the squirrel and the hedgehog with their baskets
Give the squirrel and the hedgehog the same number of apples.
Dotas has two pumpkins and asks: can you take just as many? Pumpkins lie in the field ready to pick up
Take just as many pumpkins as Dotas.

12 months, and every year is different

A new world opens every month. A year has twelve worlds, and that year is different for each age. Your child starts with the first world, whichever month you begin, and grows step by step.

Questions from parents

When will the Learning World go live?

We're getting the first worlds ready for each age and testing them with families. We don't have a fixed date yet. If you're on the waiting list, you'll be among the first to hear.

Is it in English?

Not yet: for now, Dotas speaks Dutch. An English version is planned. Join the waiting list and we'll let you know when it's ready.

How much does it cost?

We'll announce the price at launch. Everyone on the waiting list will then get a generous launch discount.

What age is it for?

For children aged 3, 4 and 5. Each age has its own year with its own worlds, and the games suit that age. When your child turns a year older, they carry on in the year for the next age.

Do I need an app?

No, it works in the browser on a tablet, phone or computer. You can add it to your home screen, and then it opens like an app.

What do you do with my data?

We only use your name and email address to let you know when the Learning World goes live. We don't share them with anyone, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
